Principle of sound insulation and vibration damping for floor soundproofing mats:

1. Impact sound isolation

The elasticity of the foam creates a floating floor structure throughout the entire floor slab, effectively isolating solid-borne sound transmission. Additionally, it improves the matching effect between upper-floor surfaces, enhancing acoustic impedance. The tiny pores in the foam induce cavity resonance within the frequency range audible to the human ear, thereby attenuating sound energy and achieving the purpose of isolating impact noise.

2. Airborne sound isolation

By utilizing the resonance effect of foam cavities, the frequency of sound propagation is altered, reducing the number of reflections and thereby achieving the purpose of isolating airborne sound.
