EPE pearl cotton
EPE, commonly known as pearl cotton, is a non-crosslinked, closed-cell foam material produced by physically foaming low-density polyethylene to form countless independent air bubbles. It is a lightweight, highly cushioning, waterproof, and cost-effective eco-friendly packaging material. Although its surface is not as smooth as IXPE and its elasticity is not as robust as EVA, it remains the unrivaled leader in logistics and transportation packaging as well as basic protective applications.
